Clips & Footage has been a leading supplier of archival footage since 1998.

The archive is an eclectic library of historical events and personalities from 1895-1968, American social history and the Hollywood Collection (the largest collection of classic film trailers, Hollywood production, screen tests and premieres in Europe). It also features a huge archive of science fiction and horror trailers, silent comedy shorts and feature films of every genre including Westerns. The contemporary collection contains 35mm timelapse footage, thousands of images of cities and countries around the world, various lifestyles, educational and science and business films. Of particular note are the fabulous Mountbatten Collection of home movies, showing the lifestyle of an aristocratic British family in the 1920s and 30s. The Royal Collection, one of the highlights of which is colour home movie footage of the young Princesses Elizabeth and Margaret at Balmoral in 1939. And the Spanish Civil War shot in color from Franco’s side, in 1936.
